Canadian Geography

Getting to know the provinces, territories and capital cities.
Many of our EAL students come with very little knowledge of Canadian geography.

The following link corresponds to a visually enhanced, simple text powerpoint presentation (saved as a pdf) that covers the provinces and territories, as well as their capital cities. Some of the major landforms, attractions and industries of each location are also mentioned. Teachers could use this powerpoint either as an introduction to a unit or as a backdrop for a more in-depth discussion on each province/territory.
